JOSEPH W. FORBATH

It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our partner and dear friend Joseph W. Forbath on December 8, 2021.   Joe joined our WSS family in 1992 and served as the head of our construction law department since 1998.  As a member of our firm for almost 30 years, Joe was an accomplished trial attorney and ardent advocate for our public and private clients.  He was also a vibrant and dedicated member of our firm’s management committee.

Joe was beloved by his WSS family and beyond.  He was a doting father and a loving son, brother, and uncle.  We will remember his bright smile, his big heart, his passion for surfing and skiing, his love of the Anaheim Ducks, the Miami Dolphins and Notre Dame Football and his unwavering commitment to charities throughout his community.  We are heartbroken for his family and our WSS family.
