Woodruff & Smart is pleased to announce that Andriy Pazuniak has joined the Firm as Senior Counsel in its municipal law practice group. Mr. Pazuniak advises cities, special districts, and other public agencies on governmental and regulatory activities, including contracts and environmental compliance.
Mr. Pazuniak brings extensive experience representing public agencies and private entities in land use, environmental, and public law matters throughout California and across the country. Prior to joining the Firm, he served as Deputy County Counsel in the Property Division of Los Angeles County Counsel, where he advised the Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning on numerous large-scale development projects. Mr. Pazuniak has also represented clients in complex environmental and business litigation at law firms in Los Angeles and New York.
Mr. Pazuniak is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in California and New York. He earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and served as a Law Review Editor. He received his B.A. in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
